  3. Allow rich edit copy-paste

Please enable rich edit copy-pasting in Windows to ensure that bold/italics formatting is preserved when Write! text is copy-pasted into other applications.

(ver. 6.0: I have to publish to HTML, then copy from that. Better, but laborious.)

  5. Make copy-paste with formatting OPTIONAL

Now if you copy-paste text from a web page, you get Italic, Bold and other formatting by default. If you need plain text, you should constantly press inconvenient button combinations. It's very annoying. Please, give us an oppurtunity to choose how we want copypasted text to be formatted in Settings menu.

You can replace this shortcut, Press F1 > find Paste / Paste as Plain Text > apply any other shortcut for this actions.

  6. Custom Shortcut for opening

Ctrl+`(backtick) is a shortcut for opening Write!, but it conflicts with a few programs I use regularly, please add the ability to customize this shortcut so I can rebind it to something specifically for Write!

  7. search replace

    Dear Programmer,

It would be important to limit the search and replace only to the document.

The search works across all tabs and Cloud documents, but replace action applies only to the open tab. If you experience another “Search and replace” behavior, please describe it.

There is a possibility to duplicate documents by pressing Ctrl+D. Meantime, we will think on the possibility to duplicate notes using context menu.

Auto rename file based on the first line in the file (similar to Evernote)

There is a shortcut assigned by default for this action – Ctrl+Shift+X on Windows and Linux, and ⌘⇧X on MacOS. If you want to re-assign the shortcut for this action, press F1, find Strikethrough using a search field and type in a key combination you want to be always responsible for this particular action.

  12. Find-and-replace: be able to replace a search with 'nothing.'

I'd love to be able to find and completely remove something I search for. Right now, after filling out "find", I'm not allowed to leave "replace" blank and have it run to remove the item completely. I have to replace my query with a space at least, and when I'm removing, for example, a unicode symbol from the beginning of every header, it's not ideal to now have every header begin with a random space. Please let us be able to replace a search with 'nothing.'

  13. After search is over, leave pointer at current position

After search through Ctrl+F is over, leave pointer at current position, not initial pre-search one.

We have added a link with release notes into updates window. Now, before the update you can press the link and check out what’s new in the latest updates urticle.

  15. Local File Tree

A local file tree is a must for me, something similar to the cloud pane that already exists. This way I can browse/open/save all my markdown files across the various project folders on my system, all in one interface. This could allow much, much better dropbox/drive support, as we could then access those files easily (without needing to do File-Open one at a time), edit and save them, and they will be uploaded again by those apps.

While this is one of the best top-to-bottom markdown note suites I have been able to find (and I've tried out TONS), I…

Done. Download and install the latest version of the app or update it to the latest version.

  17. Multi-level lists

Multi-level lists are sorely needed, both bullet and numbered lists, with at least three levels of nesting. It would be great if they could also collapse like headings do, but this is less important.

  18. Ability to create folders in the new local pane

Just like other users, I don't care much for Write's Cloud. I already have my own routine where all my local writing files are instantly backup up on a USB stick, on my home NAS and at an online backup provider. Honestly, we already all have too many Dropbox, Google Drive, etc. accounts, we don't need to spread our files to even more cloud storage.

I like the editor a lot though and have bought a paid license just for it.

So I very welcome the local pane added in version 1.50.0. It is nice but it still lacks a…

  19. Remember text align when editing

Remember used text align (in this case, justify) when replacing whole words in the middle of written text; now it goes back to default left every time I double-click something and replace it, at least in the last paragraph I'm working on.

  20. Export in CLEAN HTML.

At the moment, the app permit to export in HTML (CTRL+ALT+C).

But that HTML code is not minimal: it has a lot of CSS, Style, class, and other element that are not good when you want to import that code in your blog editor.

Then I ask for a function that allow to export in clean HTML.
