  1. Full Markdown Syntax

As of now not all markdown syntax is supported. Examples being strikethrough, setext headers, code blocks etc.
Search for "Markdown Cheatsheet" and you will find a full list.

  3. View Markdown

I've migrated from iA Writer on my mac and needed a good markdown solution for windows. This looks and works great, but I NEED to be able to edit markdown directly. It's elegant and easy for me. Can you make that an option under VIEW?

  5. Better glyph/hidden character support

I frequently work with layout, though I can adjust everything Indesign. Having quick access to the right glyph/symbol from the get-go would help my workflow immensely.

Therefore, I would suggest toggle option for hidden characters. Intuitive shortcuts to most important glyphs/space characters and glyph dialogue box.

  6. Tags and smart folders

Great work, thx! I think the next great step should be adding tags for organizing documents. (tags, smart folders, search by tags etc) After that Write will be the best :)

  8. Keywords/labels and filtered searches

I'd like to see keywords/labels and search filters that allow you to see ONLY those documents bearing a certain keyword.

  10. Export to ePub format

Export to ePub format. Ulysses on iOS and Mac does this beautifully. Nothing comes close in Windows. Let's put that right!

  11. Write! for Science and Journals

I write papers for scientific journals and for our internal research department and it would be cool if you would support the scientists using write:
    - Embedinng Picture and creating Tables
    - Creating Math formulas (with Latex?)
    - Referencing aforementioned things
    - Creating Foot notes
    - Citations and bibliography, possible with a Zotero plugin. Zotero is a popular citation and bibliography software used among peers.

    Thank you!

  12. Integrate with Grammarly

How about integrating with Grammarly? Personally, that would mean I never have to open Word ever again, surely a good thing!

  17. Tables

The ability to create tables by assembling a list of words and dividing them with hyphens - (for the first row), and then separating each column with a pipe |, like in GitHub Flavored Markdown:

  19. (Inline) Comments

Personally, whether I write or reread, I find myself adding comments to the text all the time. So I'd like to have this ability here.
It could start very simple. For instance, in WriteMonkey (that uses Markdown/Textile as well) any paragraph that starts with a double slash is a comment. It has different color and doesn't add to the word count.
Scrivener has something called annotations that doesn't add to the word count as well.
Of course, you could also go further. You could (optionally) show comments to the right from the text (a bit like, say, here: http://tsi.github.io/inlineDisqussions/ ),…
